Body length 28 cm, wing — 16.6—18.7 cm. The main coloring of the green plumage. Throat, chest and stomach yellowish-green. There is a pink-red spot on the crown, bordering the gray-blue area. The back is blue-gray, some birds have green interspersed. An orange-yellow strip runs along the top of the back. Covering feathers of the wings dull gray, shells and subsidiary greenish-blue. Green tail feathers with black and blue tips, two medium-sized tails elongated with endings in the form of black-green green «rockets». The near-eyed ring is narrow, light gray. The beak of a light-sneaken-river color with a black-handed tip. The iris is dark brown. The legs are light gray. First described by Louis Jean Pierre Vyoio in 1818.
Inhabit subtropical and wet tropical forests.
