Body length 30 cm. The coloring of the plumage is red. The upper part of the head is black. There is a yellow band on the goiter, black spots on the sides. The end of the tail and the wings are green. On the wing the blue strip. Shin is also blue.
Live in Papua-New Guinea and on Solomon Islands.
Inhabit subtropical and wet tropical forests to a height of 1000 m above the UR. m.
