Body length 30cm, tail — 13 cm. The main coloring of the green plumage. Blue-gray head and back. There is on the neck «necklace» Green colour. The tail is blue with yellow tips. Supraclows red, connection — Brown. The female is similar to a male, but the oversized overseas.
It lives in Sri Lanka.
The outskirts of forests and areas of forest, cleared under the arable land, as well as gardens inhabit. Feed on fruits and seeds of plants.
Nest in hollows of large trees. In the masonry 3-4 white eggs.
