Body length is 14cm. The tail is short. The main color is green. The head is red on top, the nadimal is bright red, a light blue spot is on the throat. On the back orange spots. The beak is red.
It lives on Sri Lanka.
Open forests inhabit. Never go down to earth. Feed on fruits, seeds, kidneys and flowers.
Nest in hollows of trees. In the masonry 2-3 white eggs.
