Body length 37 cm, tail 18 cm, the coloring of the plumage is beautiful and bright — In red, blue and green colors. The lower side of the body, head, neck is karminov-red, shoulders, back, upper covering feathers of the tail and nades of blue. Green wings with a blue stripe.
It lives in the northwest of New Guinea, the islands of Serom, Ambon and other nearby islands.
